Williams F1 is a British Formula One racing team founded in 1977 and employs over 650 people. Out of these 650, 70 of these employees spend around 10 months traveling the world as part of the Williams Racing Team. This aspect of their business is what brought Williams F1 Racing and ShoreTel Unified Communications together.
The Challenge: Williams needed a business communication system that could accommodate its employees need to work remotely while allowing them to access different communication channels from any device.
The Solution: ShoreTel provided Williams with its IP PBX, ShoreTel Mobility client licenses, Enterprise Contact Center, Conferencing Services and Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications Handsets. This gave Williams an overall complete unified communication solution that met the needs of employees both onsite and remote.
