If you have had the misfortune of needing to get an MRI, you know the uncomfortable feeling it can create. Lying for 45 – 60 minutes staring blankly around the room can seem quite longer then it is. Well, Philips Lighting has come up with a few solutions that helps create a more comfortable exam room that still provides the necessary lighting for doctors to perform their tasks.
Philips Day Brite has introduced the RelaxView Healthcare Lighting Solution. This new LED lighting solution addresses the two main issues Philips wanted to accomplish in regards to MRI procedures. To provide technicians with adequate lighting in order for them to perform their tasks and create a calm and comfortable room environment for patients.
General Room Illumination
To light the room, Philips provides their LED Ambient Ceiling Illuminator (RVAC) and the Recessed LED Downlight (RVAD). These products provide adequate lighting for everyone to maneuver safely throughout the room and perform tasks as needed.
LED Graphic Panels
To help create the relaxing and comfortable environment in the examination room, Philips designed two LED graphic panels that are able to be mounted on either the ceiling or wall. These panels come with a choice of 6 restful images which can help patients either pass time or help relax through the examination.
Lighting Controls
To finish off this suite Philips adds the Power Distribution Module and Intelligent Wall Dimmer to provide total lighting control. The technician can now control all aspects of the lights and graphic panels to perform tasks and create a peaceful exam experience for their patient.
