The Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance hosted their annual Expo this past week at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. This remarkable event brought together more than 150 exhibitors including Genesis Business Communication Solutions and 1,500 women business owners, corporate procurement executives and federal contracting officers. Companies in attendance included Centerpoint Energy, Waste Management, Tell Your Tale, LLC., UPS, HEB, AIM Family of Companies, Westpark Communications and many more. Even Houston’s own Mayor Annise Parker was in attendance.
The two day expo included events all day long such as One-on-One Business Matchmaking Sessions, Workshops, Auctions, Luncheons, and much more. This provided all attendees perfect networking opportunities and potential partner meetings to help build their business for success.
The Expo worked out great for our company as we were able to get in front of 100’s of prospects ranging from local Houston startups to national corporations. We were also able to showcase some of our latest products, including LifeSize Cloud, the ESI 60D and the new Ruckus Wireless 7372 Access Point. Each are now available and are top-of-the- line products.
The event was an overall success and great time, that brought together women owned businesses from all over Houston.
